Once again we had just the bare 17 players to pick from, as we continue to struggle to hold things together. The lads who played however, did the club proud with a performance of great spirit and determination, and despite losing two tries in the first 10mins remained composed and against the slope and the slight wind, came back to lead 18 v 12 at the break. There was to be no repeat of last weeks disaster though and we ran out comfortable winners, and deservedly so in my opinion. It was good to see Steve Precious on the touchline (plus crutches) showing his commitment to the cause despite being unable to play. The game was a massive confidence boost for the lads after the recent disappointments, so let's hope we can build on this win and move away from the relegation zone. A big thank you also to the fans who made the long trip on a day when there was a host of different events going on. Your support as always, is greatly appreciated.
