Once again the trip to Hoyland Vikings saw us collect both league points as we came back from a 4 v 18 deficit to stun the home side, who were seemingly coasting to victory after 60mins. Strangely, the turning point of the game came on 60mins when sub Craig Hebbard came on for only his second game on return from a lengthy injury absence, and was immediately sent off for an incident at the play the ball. This seemed to spur the Dragons lads on, and they took the lead for the first time on 62mins and never again looked like surrendering the lead or the points. Some really bad defensive errors from the home side didn't help their cause, and we capitalised gratefully from a series of unforced errors. Maybe not our best display, but nonetheless a welcome two points. Next week sees the big derby battle away against old rivals West Leeds. They are also on the back of two impressive wins and will be seeking revenge for the earlier defeat which we inflicted on them on the 'Rec.
